The Dentelbach is a three-kilometer-long left tributary of the Sauer in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region .

The Dentelbach rises at a height of about 320  m in the Northern Vosges in the Forêt Domaniale de Sickingen directly northeast of the Gimbelhof . It initially runs south along the eastern slope of the Thalenberg ( 441  m ), then turns to the southwest and finally flows into the Sauer from the left at an altitude of 201  m southeast of the Rocher de l'Étang .

Almost a hundred meters further south, the Steinbach, coming from the other side, flows into the Sauer .
