Deogratias Muganwa Byabazaire

Deogratias Muganwa Byabazaire (born October 9, 1941 in Karujubu-Masindi , Uganda , † February 8, 2014 in Kampala ) was a Ugandan clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Hoima .

Life

Deogratias muganwa byabazaire received on 9 August 1969, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 21, 1990 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Coadjutor Bishop of Hoima. The Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Uganda, Archbishop Luis Robles Díaz , donated him episcopal ordination on August 18 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Kampala , Emmanuel Wamala , and the Bishop of Hoima, Albert Edward Baharagate . On March 9, 1991 Deogratias Muganwa Byabazaire succeeded Albert Edward Baharagate, who resigned because of illness, Bishop of Hoima.
