The diocese Hoima ( lat. : Dioecesis Hoimanus ) is in Uganda preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Hoima .

history

The diocese of Hoima was on August 9, 1965 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Quo aptius from cessions of territory by the Archdiocese of Rubaga and the Diocese of Fort Portal . It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Mbarara as a suffragan .
