from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Moon is one of the also major arcana -called trump cards of the Tarot .

presentation

Most of the time a path is shown that meanders between two columns or towers and is flanked by a jackal and a dog. A lobster crawls out of the water. The moon itself can be seen both as a full moon and as a crescent moon with a face. At Crowely, the map is designed with sine curves. At Haindl you can see a unicorn head that has apparently grown out of the background.

interpretation

The moon stands for the attitude of serenity and surrender from which the otherworld of dreams, the second face, the subconscious, irrationality and subconscious fears opens. If the sun stands for philosophical clarity of mind, the moon stands for myths, symbols, fairy tales and parable knowledge.
