The moon and other lovers is a German tragic comedy by Bernd Böhlich from 2008.
action
The film tells the story of Hanna Lottner, a woman who has been hit by many strokes of fate, in search of the feeling of being alive. She meets her great love - Gansar, a bound man from Kashmir - and throws herself into an affair.
Reviews
The first reviews of the film were divided and overall less positive than Böhlich's previous film You are not alone . The acting performance of Katharina Thalbach, who was already the leading actress in You Are Not Alone , was once again positively highlighted. The performance of Fritzi Haberlandt, who represents a minor character, was rated more critically.
“Böhlich tries the balancing act between a fairytale parable - the search for great love - and a current social drama. But that turns out to be impossible. At least friends of Eastern rock get their money's worth. Because the film music is from the band Silly, which also appears in one scene. Thalbach is even allowed to cuddle a little with the guitarist Uwe Hassbecker. "
