The Avenger of Golden Hill (original title: Cuatro balazos ) is an early Euro western from a Spanish-Italian co-production , which is clearly closely related to American models . Agustín Navarro directed it in 1963; it had its first performance in German-speaking countries on August 6, 1965.

Katy Dalton is convicted of the murder of the man she tried to leave the area with. She tries to escape and gets under the wheels of a carriage, pleading innocence until her death. Her brother Frank, a well-known pistol shooter, comes to town to avenge her. With his arrival, a series of mysterious incidents begins, the victims of which are the jurors of the trial against Katy.
The local sheriff is investigating the case; he is one of the few who is not convinced of Frank's guilt. In fact, the investigation leads to his best friend John, who was in love with katy and wants to avenge her through the murders. The sheriff tries to arrest John, who has gone mad over the events, but manages to escape and is shot by Frank.
In death he asks forgiveness.
