Deressa Chimsa

Deressa Chimsa ( Deressa Chimsa Edae ; born November 21, 1976 ) is an Ethiopian marathon runner .

In 2008 he finished seventh in the Dubai Marathon in 2:10:16 h, and in 2009 he improved himself in the same place as second to 2:07:54 h. At the World Athletics Championships in Berlin he did not reach the goal, although he was still in sixth place at kilometer 40.

In 2010 he won the Daegu Marathon in 2:08:45 h. The following year he was fourth in Dubai and eighth in the Boston Marathon .

In 2012 he finished eighth in Dubai with his personal best of 2:05:42 h and won the Prague Marathon .

On October 28, 2012, he finished second in the marathon in Frankfurt am Main with a time of 2:06:55 h .

In 2013 he won the Toronto Waterfront Marathon .
