The Desix is a river in France that runs in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in the Occitanie region . It rises just outside the Regional Natural Park of Pyrénées Catalanes , on the northwest flank of the Croix de Marquixanes (1395 m), in the municipality of Rabouillet , generally drains in a northeastern direction and flows after 32 kilometers in the municipality of Ansignan as a right tributary into the Agly , the immediately then forms a reservoir at the Barrage de l'Agly .
