Detlev von Reventlow (Provost)
Detlev von Reventlow (born August 23, 1654 on Schmoel ; † November 4, 1701 ) was provost of the monasteries in Preetz and Schleswig and since 1693 he was the holder of the Dannebrog order .
origin
His parents were the Danish chancellor for the German parts of the country Detlef Reventlow (1600–1664) and his wife Christine Rantzau (* 1618; † May 2, 1688). The Danish Prime Minister Conrad von Reventlow was his brother.
Life
Detlev von Reventlow was the lord of the noble estates Hohenfelde , Kollmar , Quarnbek and Schmoel.
He was royal secret conference, budget and district administrator as well as provost of the Preetz monastery and the St. Johannis monastery in front of Schleswig .
He married Dorothea von Ahlefeldt († 1720) in November 1676 . The couple had four children:
