German Evangelical Working Group for Adult Education
The German Protestant Working Group for Adult Education (DEAE) is the educational umbrella organization at the federal level for Protestant adult education in Germany. The federal office is in Frankfurt / Main .
tasks
The working group is the umbrella organization for evangelical adult education under the auspices of the EKD . It promotes and supports the cooperation between the institutions and plants active in the field of adult education in the following areas:
- Internal exchange about training concepts,
- Arrangements for overarching joint training tasks
- Cooperation with universities, scientific institutes and church partners
- the documentation of the range of services offered by Protestant adult education and the task-related project work.
further topics are religious and theological education, political education, global learning and the qualification of employees.
Organs / management
The working group is led by the general assembly, the board and the federal office. The working group is closely linked to the Comenius Institute, Evangelical Work Center for Educational Science .
