German handball championship (women) 1964

The seventh German indoor handball championship for women was held on 7./8. March 1964 in the Berlin sports hall Schöneberg . The champions of the regional associations South, Southwest, West and North as well as two representatives of the organizing regional association Berlin had qualified for the final round. The six teams initially played in two groups. The two best placed progressed to the semi-finals, the two bottom of the group contested the game for fifth place. 1. FC Nürnberg became German champions .
