German Open Water Swimming Championships 2006
The International German Championships in Open Water Swimming took place from June 30th to July 3rd, 2006 in Erfurt-Stotternheim on a 1250 m long circuit in the Stotternheimer See. They were organized by the German Swimming Association and hosted by the Thuringian Swimming Association . The competition served as a qualifying competition for the 2006 European Swimming Championships in Budapest ( Hungary ) and for the European Junior Championships on July 15, 2006 in Klink / Müritz .
