Devadass Ambrose Mariadoss (born October 8, 1947 in Ammapet , Tamil Nadu , India ) is an Indian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Tanjore .

Life

Devadass Ambrose Mariadoss received on 5 August 1974, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 28, 1997, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tanjore. The Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches , Duraisamy Simon Cardinal Lourdusamy , donated him episcopal ordination on September 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Pondicherry and Cuddalore , Michael Augustine , and the Bishop Emeritus of Tanjore, Packiam Arokiaswamy . Since July 14, 2018, Devadass Ambrose Mariadoss has also been Apostolic Administrator of Tiruchirappalli .
