The Giant-Shimano Development Team is a former cycling team based in Deventer , the Netherlands , which only existed in 2014.

The team was the farm team of the UCI ProTeam Giant-Shimano . It was registered as the UCI Continental Team in the year it was founded and held a Swedish license due to the relative majority of Swedish drivers.
The sporting director was the German Jens Lang , who held this position in the Thuringian Energy Team until 2013 and is also registered as an assistant sporting director at ProTeam Giant Shimano.
The team was hired at the end of the 2014 season after the operating company decided to no longer use a junior team for scouting , but rather through “talent days”.
