Devious is a Dutch death and thrash metal band from Borne that was formed in 2000.
history
The band was founded in 2000 by guitarist Guido de Jongh and drummer Frank Schilperoort. The band worked on the first songs and released their first demo in 2002. In 2003, the debut album Acts of Rage was released on Spitzenburg Records . The following year followed appearances with Cannibal Corpse , Suffocation , Vader , Crowbar and The Dillinger Escape Plan . 2006 followed a tour through Europe with Krisiun . In 2007 the next album followed Domain via Deity Down Records . Further appearances followed until the third album Vision was released on August 31, 2009 . The album was mixed and produced by Jochem Jacobs . Guitarist Guido de Jongh was also active as a producer. The release was followed by a European tour with Entombed and Merauder . The EP Wolfhagen was released in 2012. Singer Dennis Lusseveld and bassist Alwin Zuur could be heard for the first time. Jörg Uken from the German Soundlodge Studios was responsible for mixing and mastering the sound carrier.

The band plays a technically demanding and aggressive mix of Thrash and Death Metal.
