In the following years there were no further participation in international championships. Pineda finally started in 2007 at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro . There she finished eighth on the 3-meter board and ninth on the 10-meter tower. In Beijing she played her second Olympic Games , where she was eliminated from the 3-meter board as 20th again after the preliminary fight. The following year she took part in the World Cup in Rome for the first time and was able to reach the semi-finals from the 3-meter board.
