Dick Städtler

Dick Städtler (born December 12, 1948 in Hilden , Rhineland ) is a German composer, director and choir director.

Study and training

In early childhood he took piano lessons and practiced drums. After graduating from high school, he studied theater studies at the University of Cologne and composition technology at the Cologne University of Music .

Life

Städtler was on tour with the rock cabaret Floh de Cologne for 15 years . For seven years he did literary and musical cabaret with Helmut Ruge (TV recordings by SWF, SDR, SFB, ZDF, WDR). He has appeared in a variety of television plays, plays, and musicals. He kicked u. a. at the Schauspielhaus Cologne, at the city theaters in Ulm and Essen and at the State Theater in Wiesbaden. In 2008 he directed the musical fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood . In July 2012 he took part in the Tollwood Festival in Munich.

Honors

In 1980 he received the German Cabaret Prize in Mainz for his work at Floh de Cologne .
