Helmut Ruge
Helmut Ruge (born February 7, 1940 in Stuttgart , † October 8, 2014 in Munich ) was a German cabaret artist , author , director and actor .
Ruge was originally a qualified sociologist and psychologist . He wrote 37 own cabaret programs and ten plays. Ruge achieved particular fame as a permanent partner of Hanns Dieter Hüsch in the long-lasting WDR series Hammer und Stichel . He was Dieter Hildebrandt's co-author for the equally well-known notes from the provinces .
The cabaret artist was married and lived in Munich since 1967. Ruge had two sons and a daughter. Since around 2005 he has performed occasionally with his son Boris. Ruge died unexpectedly in October 2014 at the age of 74 in Munich.
