Didier Simon Pierre Tarot (born May 9, 1930 in Paris , † February 18, 2012 in Neuilly-sur-Seine , France ) was a French cameraman .
Live and act
After completing his training, Tarot began working as a camera assistant in the late 1950s , before he was allowed to shoot a short film on his own for the first time in 1961 . Afterwards Tarot worked for a few years as a simple cameraman for full-length films. From the mid-1960s onwards, the Parisian mostly appeared as head cameraman, but also continued to work in a subordinate role, for example as the junior partner of his more experienced colleague Jean Boffety , behind the camera. Tarot's works are mainly to be assigned to popular cinema; For example, he photographed a series of turbulent comedies with comedian star Louis de Funès , including his last film from 1982.
