The 3 Z'widern

The 3 Z'widern are a German music trio in the field of folk music . A “ Z'widerer ” is understood in the Bavarian dialect to mean a curmudgeon, a bitch.

history

After several years of appearances in Bavaria under various names, such as "The Trachtler" or "De three Boarisch'n" who founded trombonist , bassist and singer Hans Schuster (born July 3, 1948) in 1978 during an appearance in Staudach in Marquartstein the Trio Die 3 Z'widern . The other two members of the trio were initially Georg "Schorsch" Eder (born April 25, 1947, guitar and vocals) and Helmut Patermann (born August 18, 1950; accordion and vocals). Eder later left the trio and was replaced by Christian Tschaussnig (guitar and vocals).

In 1982 the trio produced their first music cassette on their own, which was sent to Karl Moik , who hired them for the Musikantenstadl . This was the beginning of a successful music career. The trio completed numerous television and radio appearances and tours throughout the German-speaking area as well as in America , South Africa , Egypt , Taiwan , Oman , Greece and Canada . The trio also played on cruises in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean .

In 1987 Die 3 Z'widern and Die Herren vom Gesangverein competed at the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 1987 , but their song did not reach the final. The same thing happened to them with “Telefon vom Titisee” at the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 1988 and 1989 with Why is the dumpling round? . Nevertheless, the latter title in particular became one of their greatest hits.

Her repertoire ranges from room music to hits , from evergreen to rock 'n' roll . In addition to music, they also make funny verbal contributions during their performances.
