Auto Mobil is a car magazine on VOX and the follow-up program to auto motor und sport tv . It is broadcast weekly on Sunday at 5 p.m. and moderated by Alexander Bloch and Andreas Jancke .

history

auto mobil replaces auto motor und sport tv after VOX ended its cooperation with the magazine auto motor und sport due to differences in the content of the program and the long-term exploitation rights. The program was initially hosted by Peter Stützer , who had been leading the previous show auto motor und sport tv since 1995 . In 2011, Stützer stopped moderating for health reasons. From October 2010 Birte Karalus and Peter Stützer still moderated the show together; In 2011 Karalus took over the moderation completely. Alexander Bloch and Andreas Jancke replaced Birte Karalus on January 12, 2014 . With the restart, a permanent studio was also set up as "headquarters" for the broadcast in the Classic Remise Düsseldorf .

On October 25, 2015, the 1,000th episode of the show (including episodes under the name auto motor und sport tv ) was broadcast. For the anniversary, the broadcasting time was extended to two hours and there was a competition in which a Porsche 911 (996) prepared by the car doctors and the tuning professionals could be won.

content

The program usually has a current topic from the automotive sector as its content. This can be, for example, the presentation of a new vehicle or a visit to an automobile exhibition such as the IAA . Vehicle and comparison tests have mostly been carried out by test boss Albert Königshausen since 2014, while racing driver Lance David Arnold is responsible for sports and racing vehicles. Various recurring mini-series are shown between the contributions.

The auto doctors

The car doctors Hans-Jürgen Faul and Holger Parsch are trained car mechanics and electronics masters and help viewers with permanent problems with their vehicle in the mini-series or sub-series. They also explain in detail how the (defective) parts work. Auto Mobil viewers can apply with their vehicle. The vehicle is repaired alternately in Holger Parsch's company in Venloer Strasse in Cologne-Bickendorf , in Hans-Jürgen Fauls' workshop in Cologne-Godorf or at the customer's premises if the vehicle is not ready to drive or the customer is otherwise busy. “Die Autodoctors” is now available as a YouTube channel .

The tuning professionals

The tuning professionals Timo, Charly, Jörni and Bolle repair and tune spectator vehicles in their Berlin workshop.

so it is right

“Drivers in court”: This mini-series shows judgments in the field of traffic. The story is explained in a humorous way.

Accident record

In the accident file, a serious traffic accident is explained and analyzed by various experts such as accident analysts. Pictures and videos from the scene of the accident are shown as well as interviews with people involved, relatives and the emergency services.

Take CARe - VOX makes helpers mobile

“Take CARe - VOX makes helpers mobile” is an aid project launched in 2013 by the private broadcaster VOX . The campaign supports charitable associations with the help of the VOX car experts (e.g. the "car doctors" Holger Parsch and Hans-Jürgen Faul or the "tuning professionals"). They take care of the repair and maintenance of defective vehicles of the charitable organizations in order to reward their work.

Aid actions that have already been carried out have taken place in various non-profit organizations, such as Caritas Cologne, the Kölner Tafel, the association "Wunschdirwas" Cologne, the YMCA Amberg, the SOS Children's Village Salzgitter or the Mehlmeisel volunteer fire department. The projects are usually accompanied by a camera and can be seen on the Internet or on television at Auto Mobil . The promotion was first broadcast on October 13, 2013.
