The Danube is Burning is a Romanian adventure film from 1959.

A partisan fighter hires on a barge to steal supplies intended for the enemy soldiers. Instead of the occupying power, the resistance fighters are to receive the weapons and ammunition. Inspired by this example, the team changes their mind and follows the fighter.
