Die Eine und Die Eine 2005 denote pieces of music by the German-speaking hip-hop music group " Die Firma ". The songs were written by Tatwaffe (Alexander Terboven) and Daniel Sluga, the songs are about Tatwaffe's current wife, Antje.
The music was produced by D. Sluga. The harmony sequences in both versions are based on canon in D major by Johann Pachelbel .
The one
One was on the album Spiel des Lebens / Spiel des Todes song number 10, but was never released as a single. The band didn't want to get famous with a pop single at the start of their career, but instead released the song "Scheiss auf die Hookline" in 1999.

The one 2005
Due to fan requests, the band continued to tell the story in Die Eine 2005 . Tatwaffe's wife, to whom the song is dedicated, first heard the song on the plane to Los Angeles . In the song, the rapper Tatwaffe describes his love for her. In the last sentence of the third verse he asked for the woman's hand. There is also a remix on the maxi single CD. The third verse was rewritten and spoken by Terboven's friend .
Music video
There are two different music videos for Die Eine 2005 . The first video was shot in Cologne and was a no-budget video . The second variant was only shot after the song had been in the charts for a few weeks. The second version was shot with Tatwaffes Frau in Berlin.

“Die Eine 2005” was sold 320,000 times and the video was viewed over 32 million times on YouTube (as of April 2020).

The single was able to stay in the German charts for 33 weeks. 8 weeks in the top 10 and two weeks in second place.
