Tatwaffe (real name: Alexander Terboven ) is a German rapper and member of the band Die Firma .

Life

Tatwaffe became a member of the German hip-hop band Das Duale System in the early 1990s and subsequently released two singles and one album with the crew. In 1997 Tatwaffe, Curse , the Stieber Twins , RAG and STF joined forces to form the La Familia crew .

Tatwaffe sold as a solo artist and the previous publications together with Die Firma (with Fader Gladiator and Def Benski ) since 1998 well over 1,000,000 records. These include the first Die Firma album Spiel des Lebens / Spiel des Todes (1998) with over 80,000 units and the single Die Eine 2005 (2005), which went platinum with over 320,000 units sold. Also with guest posts on singles like Ganxtaville Pt. III ( DJ Tomekk feat. Kurupt , G-Style & Tatwaffe) Tatwaffe stayed in the charts for several weeks, including three weeks at number 5.

Together with Die Firma he was nominated for the Echo “Hip Hop National”, the 1 Live Krone and the Bravo Otto . The solo album Sternenklar was released in August 2016 on the Gevelsberg label Versunkene Fabrik Music . At the same time he is working on the seventh album of Die Firma .

In 2012 Tatwaffe started the side project TNT together with the Cologne rapper Tami (civil: Habakuk Habben). Since then, they have released several songs together, including a contribution to Shut Up .
