The Stieber Twins are a hip-hop duo from Heidelberg , consisting of the twin brothers Martin and Christian Stieber (born November 6, 1972 ). As “Marshall Mar” and “Luxus Chris”, they are mainly active as graffiti sprayers, breakdancers , rappers , producers and DJs .

history

The brothers have been active in the hip hop scene since 1984. First as a dancer, later as a graffiti sprayer and beatboxer. They have been producing music themselves since 1992. Her first instrumentals , Just Writin 'My Name and Breakers Revenge 93 (both together with Zeb.Roc.Ski aka Akim Walta, the founder of MZEE) appeared on the album Alte Schule ( MZEE Records ). The first tracks, on which they rapped themselves, appeared in 1995 on the sampler Die Klasse von '95 (MZEE) and are called "HipHop and Rap" and "Alone for Two". Today the Stieber Twins rarely appear as rappers. In 2014, for example, a track appeared together with Megaloh . Christian Stieber pursues his profession as an architect, Martin Stieber runs his own hip-hop shop in Heidelberg.

On their 40th birthday in November 2012, the Stieber Twins celebrated a big "80 Years of Stieber Twins" birthday party in Heidelberg, at which they also gave a concert themselves. In addition to US rapper Diamond D , numerous greats came from the scene, such as Torch , Das Bo , Cora E , Kool Savas , Dendemann and Jan Delay .
