Versunkene Fabrik is a German independent label that was founded in 2014. The releases of the label belong to the genre hip-hop .
history
The label Versunkene Fabrik was founded in February 2014 by Julian Marchewka and Markus Landau. In October 2014 the label released its first sampler . In 2015, the Cologne rapper Mo-Torres was signed. This brought out his second studio album "Irgendwo Dazwischen" through the Sunken Factory . Koolhy & End released their album "Orbit" in November 2015 .
The label and Groove Attack have had a distribution contract for sound carriers since January 2016 .
In 2016 the artist Spinning 9 released his debut album “Behind the Leading Role”, which was released on April 22nd. He managed to win over the American rapper Soulja Boy for his album. The album made it to number 95 on the German iTunes charts.
In September 2016, Die Firma member Tatwaffe released his album “Sternenklar” on the Gevelsberg independent label. It entered the German hip-hop charts at number 15. Among others, Mo Trip , Vega , Bosca , Manuellsen , Eko Fresh and other well-known artists are represented on the album .
On January 11, 2017, the label announced in a Facebook post that the artist Capkekz was under contract with the Sunken Factory for his next solo album. The resulting album "Capo di Tutti Capi" was released on May 19, 2017.
For 2017 the artists End, Tatwaffe, Spinning 9 and Ain Safra had announced new albums. The latter released the first solo album of his career in July, which was co-produced by Bosca . In August, the album "Erstmal für Eifel" was released by End. On November 10, 2017, Spinning 9 released his second solo album Skyzone , which featured national artists as well as Bizarre (rappers) and Kuniva from D12 .
In mid-2019, the label signed the artists Carnalito & Kalea . A little later, the rapper Koka followed. At the end of May 2020, Favorite announced on his Instagram channel that he was now also under contract with Veraunkene Fabrik.
