Capkekz

Capkekz (born May 27, 1979 in Cologne ; bourgeois Jassin Arrais ) is a German-speaking rapper of Moroccan descent, who stylistically belongs to the gangsta rap genre. He has been with Al Gears label Milfhunter Records since 2014 and with the independent label Versunkene Fabrik Music for a project ( Capo di Tutti Capi ) since January 2017 .

biography

Capkekz has been actively involved with rap since 2002 and was initially inspired by rappers such as Public Enemy or NWA . Shortly afterwards he became aware of French rap. In 2005 Capkekz was signed to the German Dream Universe label .

In 2006 various features followed on Eko Fresh's album Hartz IV , as well as the album Ekaveli , which was released in 2007. This was followed by some freetracks with rappers like Farid Bang and Summer Cem, among others .

At the end of December 2008 his mixtape Der Kalif von Köln was released , which was freely available for download. This mixtape was a foretaste of his album Cap der Angst , released in March 2009 via German Dream , which he had produced alone with Kingsize. The single Cap der Angst with Summer Cem and Hör auf dich with Eko Fresh were released.

Furthermore, guest contributions followed on the album Feierabend by Summer Cem, as well as on Asphalt Massaka 2 and the MZEE version of the album Banger Live Shorter by Farid Bang , which was able to place itself at number 11 in the charts. Capkekz was also represented on Eko Fresh 's album Ekrem, which entered number 5 .

In 2014, Capkekz moved to Al-Gear's label Milfhunter Records , where he made a guest contribution to the album, Al-Gear, Again Accused . On January 9, 2015, he released his second solo album Capoera .

In 2017 his third solo album Capo di Tutti Capi was released on Versunkene Fabrik Music .
