The online magazine laut.de rated Asphalt Massaka 2 with two out of a possible five points and noted that provocation alone does not create entertainment:

" Sure, there are a few really nice lines here and there, but the bottom line is that" Asphalt Massaka 2 "is a beef stew located in the back third. And even if the disc comes up with a thousand tricky punchlines: I'll never find out because the record doesn't motivate me to discover them by listening to them umpteen times. [...] lack of ingenuity, exhausting monotonous flow and a nasal-dragged rumger, which involuntarily evokes the suspicion of insufficient brain ventilation even in the most open-minded listener. In short: provocation alone does not create entertainment. If you have fun here, you don't buy the ticket for the game, but because of the fight. "

Trivia

The soccer player Kevin Kurányi, who can be seen in the video for the song It's so far , later distanced himself from his appearance. After seeing the complete video, he informed his club FC Schalke 04 . Christoph Pieper, spokesman for the football club, said that Kurányi was " linked ". He took part in the video shoot without knowing the lyrics. In addition, no consent was given to the use of the images by the football professional. Kurányi was then cut from the official version of the video.
