Blut is the seventh solo album by the Düsseldorf rapper Farid Bang . It was released on May 27, 2016 on his own label Banger Musik as a standard edition and a limited deluxe box set , including bonus songs, instrumentals , two DVDs , comics, autograph cards and t-shirts.

On June 3, 2016, Blut entered the German album charts at number 2 and stayed in the top 100 for nine weeks. In Austria and Switzerland it reached the top of the charts. It was ranked 45th in the German album charts in 2016 and number 9 in the hip-hop annual charts.
On March 31, 2016, a music video for the first single 100 Bars was released. The second release Jebemti Majku followed on April 15, before the song The last time in life was released on April 28, 2016 . On May 12 and 24, 2016, videos of the tracks Russian Diet and Still looking in the face were published. Furthermore, a music video for a remix of the song Koma , on which the rapper 18 karat is represented, was released on June 2nd . On June 26, 2016, a video for the song Don't forget was also released.

On the website laut.de Dani Fromm rated blood with only one of a possible five points. The topics are predictable and unimaginative, with the supposedly profound songs and the appearances of guest singers Xavier Naidoo and Julian Williams being particularly criticized.
Oliver Marquart from the website rap.de certified the album more freshness than its predecessor Asphalt Massaka 3 . This is mainly due to the fact that the beats are much stronger and more complex. Farid Bang continues to use the tried and tested gangsta rap for the most part, but brings more variety into it with some profound songs.
