Banger live shorter is the third solo album by rapper Farid Bang . It was released on February 18, 2011 via Eko Fresh's label German Dream .

The album mainly contains typical gangsta rap songs such as Du Fils de Pute , Please Spitte 5000 and Willkommen auf der Kö . But more profound songs (e.g. vicious circle , my husband is a gangster , man , turn back the time ) are represented more often than on earlier publications by the rapper. The title song Banger live shorter is a disstrack against the rapper Sido .
Guest Posts
Contributions by other artists can be found on six songs on the album. The Austrian rapper RAF Camora can be heard at Du Fils de Pute . The German Dream colleague Summer Cem and the rapper Fard support Farid Bang on Neureiche Wichser (NRW) , while Afrob and German Dream boss Eko Fresh rap their hands out of their pockets during the song Hol . In addition, the singer Ramsi Aliani can be heard on King of the Night and the rapper Haftbefehl and Habesha appear on One stitch is enough . Furthermore, the singer Zemine can be heard on the song Mein Mann ist ein Gangster and the singer Delus on Mensch . In the run-up to the album's release, Farid Bang posted a 10-part video blog series on the YouTube platform on which he disclosed information about the album. In addition to the videos for both songs of the single, videos were filmed for the intro and the song Please Spitte 5000 .

The album was tentatively indexed by the BPjM almost a year after its release in late January 2012 . This means that the sound carrier may no longer be sold to young people under the age of 18. The songs that led to the indexing are Du Fils de Pute , 3 times in a lifetime , Please Spitte 5000 , Neureiche Wichser (NRW) , One stitch is enough , Bangers live shorter and Welcome to the Kö , which is classified as brutal, immoral and discriminatory to women were.
In October 2018, the album was re-released under the title Banger Leben shorter XXX , with the seven titles responsible for indexing being deleted. This new version of the album, now consisting of eight songs, is freely available again.

Banger Leben kellzer entered the German album charts at number 11 in the 10th calendar week of 2011. The following week the album dropped to position 63 and then left the charts. The album also made it into the top 100 in Austria (# 32) and Switzerland (# 25). According to their own information, the album sold over 10,000 times.
On February 11, 2011, the song Teufelskreis was released as the first official single, including the song King of the Night , for download. Music videos were shot for both songs, which premiered on January 11 and February 9, 2011 respectively. The single failed to enter the charts.
