Die Feisten (spelling: die feisten ) are a singing duo consisting of Mathias Zeh and Rainer Schacht , which emerged in 2013 from the Göttingen trio Ganz Schön Feist . The duet is characterized by its own compositions, its own accompaniment and comedy elements. It calls its music style ZweiMannSongComedy and presents its songs in a minimalist way with different acoustic instruments or a cappella . In addition to acoustic guitar and bass , instruments such as mandolin , sitar , timple , cajón , ukulele , bass box and a Udu are also used.

history

Since 2013 the Feisten have been organizing tours with a changing program in German-speaking countries, namely Experimental Laboratory , Experimental Laboratory 2 and Nut Bowl blues and, at the present time, Adam and Eve . They also appear in television programs such as Asül für alle with Django Asül or Comedy with Carsten . Her debut CD Versuchslabor was released in 2013, which reflects her minimalist stage sound. In June 2014 they achieved greater awareness on YouTube with the publication of a live recording of the song Kriech nich da rein . The song is based on the melody of Greek wine by Udo Jürgens and satirizes everyday German office life. In 2015, Versuchslabor - 100% feist launched a revised version of their debut album, in which two songs were replaced by their own compositions, so that only their own works were represented. The album Nussschüsselblues , released in 2016, only contains live recordings. The double album Adam & Eva (Live) was released on August 24, 2018 and contains a total of 18 live recordings on 2 CDs.

In 2017 the German Cabaret Award 2017 went to the Feisten in the category chanson / song / music. The prize was presented to them by Urban Priol on March 5, 2017 in the Unterhaus - Mainzer Forum-Theater .

Furthermore, the Feisten received both the Schwerter Kleinkunstpreis and the award of the Sun Kings Hachenburg in 2017 .

In March 2018 the Feisten received a 50-minute 3sat special on their Adam and Eve program, which was also broadcast on ZDF .
