Die Fischer von Moorhövd is a 14-part early evening series that was first broadcast in the regional program of North German Radio from the end of February 1982 .

content

After the death of the fisherman Jan Hansen, his wife Anke was forced to continue the family business in the fictional fishing village of Moorhövd together with her daughter Antje. When the boat builder Detlef Detlefsen joins the company, this creates tension in the place. Detlefsen is now fishing with the fisherman Kuddel. When he gives up the job for reasons of age and becomes harbor master, Antje takes over his position. In the meantime, a love affair has developed between Detlef and Anke.

The individual episodes ran at weekly intervals on Fridays. The series was repeated on 1plus in 1986 and on N3 in 1993 . The first two episodes can be seen in full on YouTube , and the entire series has also been released on DVD.

The cutter used as a filming location was laid down in the shape of a war fish cutter in 1944 and was used in 1984 on the occasion of the filming of "Anke" in "Antje D." (Antje Detlefsen) renamed. It has been modernized to this day (as of 2020) and converted into a fishing cutter in operation. Home port has been Maasholm since 1974 .
