Peter Harlos (born before 1950) is a German television director and film editor .

life and work

Peter Harlos began his career in the 1960s as an editor of television games , TV series and series such as Stahlnetz or Motiv Liebe . A trip to a completely different genre came in 1974 when he, together with director Bill Rebane the section of the American science fiction film Invasion from Inner Earth took over.

From the 1970s, Peter Harlos increasingly directed himself , e. B. in individual episodes of series such as The case from next door or St. Pauli Landungsbrücken . In 1976 he was on two episodes of the series Scary Stories in the double role as director and editor; for several other episodes he only did the editing. After Wilfried Dotzel had staged the first seven episodes of the series Kümo Henriette, which was produced from 1978 to 1980 , Harlos was responsible for the remaining 21 episodes as director. All 14 episodes of the series Die Fischer von Moorhövd (1982), with Manfred Krug in the leading role, were also produced by Harlos.

As a director, Peter Harlos mainly worked for Studio Hamburg and its producer Gyula Trebitsch . With Chronik des 20. Jahrhundert (1983), Harlos made a documentary film for the studio for the first time .

Harlos was also the author of German-language dubbed versions , for which he also directed dialogue , and occasionally worked as an assistant director , e.g. B. in 21 episodes of the series Hamburg Transit , which were broadcast 1972-1973.
