Local page at the bottom left is a 56-part early evening series by ARD , broadcast for the first time on March 11, 1975 in the regional program of Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR).

Each episode describes the events and experiences that are hidden behind a short, inconspicuous message, which can be read at the beginning of each episode on the "local page bottom left" of the daily newspaper of the fictional town of Störenbek.

Local site bottom left ran in three seasons, the first from March 11th to June 3rd, 1975 (every Tuesday), the second from October 27th, 1976 to May 18th, 1977 (Wednesdays), the third season from October 21st, 1977 to 17th February 1978 (Fridays). Apparently it was only shown in the NDR's evening program. The station showed reruns in 1983/84 and 1988.

The series had various spiritual fathers and mothers, among them Herbert Lichtenfeld , Volker Vogeler , Peter Härtling , Kathrin Brigl and Wolfgang Kirchner , directed by István Bury , Claus Peter Witt , Wolfgang Storch , Hermann Leitner and Wilfried Dotzel , among others .

Since each episode told a self-contained story, there were no continuous characters. The series was shot in Winsen (Luhe) and the surrounding area. The rooms of the print shop were those of the Winsener Anzeiger .
