Siegrid Hackenberg (born January 15, 1936 in Berlin , † June 9, 1980 in Hamburg ) was a German actress and cabaret artist .

Life

Siegrid Hackenberg first played in Berlin theaters, for example in 1956 in the Renaissance Theater in the world premiere of Joachim Wichmann's play When the Path ends or in 1959 in an open-air production of Schiller's Jungfrau von Orleans on the Rehberge open-air stage. In 1965 she founded the Berlin Reich Cabaret with her husband, the actor Alexander Welbat , as well as Dieter Kursawe , Doris Bierett and the author Volker Ludwig , where she appeared and directed. From the late 1960s she was also on stages in Hamburg, such as B. 1969 in the Junge Theater, the later Ernst-Deutsch-Theater , in the plays The Flea in the Ear by Georges Feydeau directed by Eberhard Möbius or Blues for Mister Charlie by James Baldwin . In 1974 she came to the Deutsche Schauspielhaus , with whom Hackenberg remained connected until her untimely death. Here she performed in Shakespeare's As You Like It , in Kleinbürgerhochzeit of Bertolt Brecht or Dario Fo Comedy paid will not! . In 1975 she was seen alongside Will Quadflieg , Maria Wimmer , Uwe Friedrichsen and Gerd Böckmann in Rudolf Noelte's production of One Long Day Journey into the Night by Eugene O'Neill , as well as in Gogol's Revisor and the Offenbach operetta La Périchole .

Occasionally Siegrid Hackenberg also worked for television. Siegrid Hackenberg died of cancer at the age of 44 in Hamburg. With Alexander Welbat they had a son together, the actor, director and film producer Douglas Welbat .
