Jochen Schenck (born April 30, 1929 in Hamburg ; † November 24, 2016 in Elmshorn ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Jochen Schenck was engaged at the Hamburg Ohnsorg Theater from 1956 until his death . Through his numerous roles as well as many guest performances and television broadcasts of the theater in the NDR , he also became known nationwide. Here he played in numerous pieces alongside his wife Christa Wehling , including works such as Der Bürgermeisterstuhl (1962) with Heinz Lanker and Erna Raupach-Petersen , Meister Anecker (1965) with Henry Vahl and Heini Kaufeld , The Queen of Honolulu (1966) with Otto Lüthje and Heidi Mahler , Zwei Kisten Rum (1958) with Walter Scherau and (1968) with Werner Riepel and Karl-Heinz Kreienbaum , Die Kartenlegerin (1968) with Heidi Kabel and Willy Millowitsch , Das Hörrohr (1973) with Hans Jensen and Ernst Grabbe and Mudder Mews (1977) with Heidi Kabel and Heidi Mahler. Jochen Schenk died on November 24, 2016 in his house in Elmshorn and was buried in close family circle in his hometown.

In 1996 he received the Fritz Reuter Prize of the Alfred Toepfer Foundation for his outstanding achievements in the field of Low German .
