Heinz Lanker (born August 4, 1916 in Altona , today part of Hamburg ; † August 11, 1978 in Hamburg) was a German actor , radio play speaker and theater director .

biography

Lanker was born in 1916 in the then still independent municipality of Altona ( Schleswig-Holstein ). He completed his training as an actor with Willy Maertens , who was on the stage of the Thalia Theater for many years and later became its director.

Lanker got his first engagement in 1945 from Richard Ohnsorg at the Niederdeutsche Bühne Hamburg , which was later renamed the Ohnsorg Theater . He quickly felt at home here and soon gained great popularity as a character comedian. He became a popular actor in the best sense of the word. He was one of the busiest actors in the house and has directed a lot. When the NDR began broadcasting performances from the Ohnsorg Theater nationwide on television, Lanker and his colleagues quickly became audience favorites. The television viewers saw him in many roles, big and small. He was one of the main actors in the comedies In Luv and Lee, Love and Grandpa is Sold , both from 1961. As the rich Mr. Seefeldt in Tratsch in the stairwell , he could be seen in two different performances, one in 1962 and the other in 1974 The same applies to Der Bürgermeisterstuhl (1962 and 1969) and Das Herrschaftskind (1955 and 1972).

In the 1960s he also appeared in two feature films. The Ohnsorg ensemble was involved in both films. During this time, Heinz Lanker wrote his only Low German comedy under the title Blomen un Unkruut , which was successfully premiered at his main stage.

In radio he was often in action as a director and speaker, especially in numerous dialect radio plays of the NWDR Hamburg and its legal successor the Norddeutscher Rundfunk . He also played the role of innkeeper Eduard Grothe in the series Neues from Waldhagen , which was produced for school radio between 1955 and 1985 .
