Rudolf Kinau
Rudolf Kinau (born March 23, 1887 in Finkenwerder ; † November 19, 1975 ibid) was a Low German writer, also known as Rudl Kinau .
origin
Rudolf Kinau's parents were the deep-sea fisherman Heinrich Wilhelm Kinau and Metta, b. Holst, his brothers the writers Johann Wilhelm Kinau alias Gorch Fock and Jakob Kinau .
Life
He attended elementary school and then first worked for an Elbe fisherman before he worked in sea fishing on his father's Ewer for five years . Then he attended the seaman's school and made his pilot's license for the large shipping industry. After a year of service in the merchant navy , as a result of the poor economic situation in shipping, he accepted a position in the Hamburg fish hall. His first story, a tribute to his older brother Gorch Fock, he wrote in 1916. Known become, he is also on the radio, first in the morning celebrations, then later, for example in the series by n Hear pray to the NDR . Comrade and comrade, among others, appeared in book form of these addresses . He wrote a total of 33 books in which his love for the Low German language becomes clear again and again.
