Reimer Bull

Reimer Bull (born December 16, 1933 in Marne , Schleswig-Holstein Province , Free State of Prussia ; † September 5, 2012 in Langwedel (Holstein) ) was a German educator and Low German author .

Reimer Bull studied German and then worked in school. In 1969 he received his doctorate in Kiel and later became professor of German and Low German at Christian-Albrechts-Universität . From 1977 to 1998 he was chairman of the Klaus Groth Society .

In 1987 he translated six stories by Siegfried Lenz into Low German, and in 1988 his first book Övern'n Weg lopen - Histories ut de Lüttstatt was published . He was also the author and spokesman for the NDR series Hör mal 'n pray to . He has several books and audio books with his own stories.
