Falko Weerts

Falko Weerts (born January 6, 1942 in Emden ) is a German author who writes and moderates texts in Low German and High German .

He lives in Weyhe / Lower Saxony and works as a Low German author in northern Germany.

Act

Weerts about 120 times was 1995 to 2006 Platt talker in the broadcast op Talk Platt of Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR). The presenter Gerlind Rosenbusch was at his side . He was the successor to Ewald Christophers .

At NDR, from 2003 to 2007, Weerts also gave live commentary on the Bundesliga on Platt for four seasons at Sportclub .

In 2007 he started as a newscaster for the Low German news from Radio Bremen .

He also played roles in the Low German films Apparatspott - Gerangel in Ruum un Tied and Apparatspott - Dat mokt wie gistern .

Weerts runs a small literary publishing house in his place of residence, which mainly deals with contemporary North German literature.
