Apparatspott - Dat mokt wie gistern is the third feature film in the Apparatspott series, a series of several parodies of the television series and film series Star Trek in Low German , which have been filmed in Germany since 1996 under the direction of Martin Hermann . History of origin
Apparatspott - dat mokt wi gistern was created in two and a half years of work exclusively in my free time. Since 2005 the preparations for the third film in the Apparatspott series have been going on - under significantly more professional conditions than in the previous productions. For this film, which began shooting on October 1, 2005, a cost of € 150,000 was set - excluding full cost accounting. Regularly calculated, production costs would have been more than 1.1 million euros. The completion date should be 2007; in fact, it took a little longer than planned - until the beginning of 2008.

The film had its official premiere on March 28, 2008 in the Kreissparkasse Diepholz in front of 500 invited guests. Previously, it was presented on February 7, 2008 as part of the “European Film Market” at the “Berlinale” by the “Film & Medienbüro Niedersachsen” (FMB).
In the meantime, the film has been shown throughout northern Germany, including a. in Hamburg , Bremen , Hanover , Oldenburg and Osnabrück .
action
The film begins with a scientist visiting the Sulingen mayor. The latter wants to cut the scientist's budget because his project cannot show any results. The mayor then goes missing in the so-called "Sulinger Tiedröhrn", whereupon a rescue team is sent out.
The scientists have now found out that the mayor should be found in the Stone Age . Instead of landing there, the rescue team, consisting of the chef and Schrotty, initially finds itself back in the Middle Ages , where they are captured. Chef is able to break free and meets Robert Hut, who helps him with others to save Schrotty from the gallows.
After the rescue, the two of them, now accompanied by Spick and Kalle, fly through time to the Stone Age with a device mockery to save the mayoress. Meanwhile, the two cleaning ladies from the Sulingen Tiedröhrn discover that she has been sabotaged. In the Stone Age, the mayoress is kidnapped by another spaceship in front of the rescuers, but can be freed after a fight. In this fight, however, the machine mockery is damaged.
During all of this, a subplot stole a tractor, the owner of which the scientists suspect. He breaks into the Tiedröhrn building and through it also comes to the Stone Age, where he also finds his tractor.
After the apparatus mockery was damaged, its inmates stranded in the " Wild West ". Here they also encounter cork, which had been missing for a long time when they were arrested. However, this is not a criminal, but suffers from the sheriff's intrigues. After Pulle was called as the last helper, he also travels to the Wild West by car, to which the Tiedröhrn has been transportably mounted. Meanwhile, the two cleaning ladies from the Tiedröhrn take over the repairs. The imprisoned rescue team is freed and overwhelmed with the help of Robert Hut, who was brought back from the Middle Ages, the sheriff and his men. In the ensuing duel, which is decided by building a house of cards , the sheriff is finally defeated and chased out of town.
Cork and the chef decide to stay in the Wild West, while the rest, including the mayor, return to Sulingen. There the saboteur, for whom the mayor wanted to cut the budget, was arrested and the Tiedröhrn was repaired.
