Quickborn Publishing House

The Quickborn-Verlag is a Hamburg publisher who on Low German specialized literature.

The publishing house was founded on October 12, 1915 by the Hamburger Quickborn association with the aim of promoting Low German literature. The name refers to a volume of poetry by Klaus Groth .

Rudolf Kinau was one of the publishers' authors. The series of Quickborn booklets classics of the Low German language is an important part of the publishing house. Audio books are also part of the publishing program.

1989 the publishing house H. Lühr & Dircks was taken over.
