Ernst Grabbe (born February 26, 1926 in Hamburg ; † February 8, 2006 there ) was a German theater and television actor .

Life

Born in Hamburg, he grew up in his hometown. After finishing school he took singing and acting lessons. He received his first stage engagement in Neustadt in Holstein in 1946 . Then he went back to Hamburg to the St. Pauli Theater there . In 1954 Hans Mahler brought him to the Ohnsorg Theater . From then on, this stage became his artistic home. Due to the numerous television broadcasts from this company, he quickly achieved a high level of awareness among the public.
