Gisela Wessel (born November 10, 1926 in Hamburg ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .

Life

Gisela Wessel completed an acting training with Ida Ehre and Eva Fiebig . After a few years as an actress in the provinces, she received a permanent engagement at the Hamburg Ohnsorg Theater from 1962 .

Through her numerous roles, she demonstrated talent as a character actress as well as in the comedic field. As a partner of Edgar Bessen in particular , she became known nationwide through the numerous television broadcasts from the Ohnsorg Theater on NDR .

Her great successes, which were also broadcast on television, included pieces such as Tratsch in the stairwell (1962) with Heidi Kabel , Erna Raupach-Petersen , Henry Vahl and Edgar Bessen, father Philipp (1963) with Henry Vahl and Heidi Kabel, Meister Anecker (1965) with Henry Vahl and Christa Wehling , Tratsch in the stairwell (1966) with Heidi Kabel and Edgar Bessen , Verteufelte Zeiten (1968) with Heidi Kabel, Alte Liebe - Junge Leben (1969) with Heinz Lanker and Hartwig Sievers , Mensch sein sein der Mensch (1970) with Werner Riepel , Henry Vahl, Edgar Bessen, Der möblierte Herr (1971) with Heidi Kabel and Werner Riepel or Und oben Wohnen Engels (1978) with Erna Raupach-Petersen.
