Günther Dockerill

Günther Dockerill (born September 14, 1924 in Hamburg ; † September 3, 1988 there ) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Dockerill became known as a narrator in episodes 1 to 56 of the radio play series Ein Fall für TKKG . Since the 1950s, however, he was mainly active as a radio play speaker for the public broadcasters, mainly for the NWDR Hamburg and its legal successor, the NDR . He was mostly heard in leading or larger supporting roles in a wide variety of genres. Including in some Low German dialect radio plays , such as with Heinz Klevenow , Erich Schellow and Maria Janke in Das Obergrunder Paradiesspiel (1951) or in 1957 in Albert Mähl's radio story Julia un de Renaissance alongside Hartwig Sievers , Otto Lüthje and Uwe Friedrichsen . In the feature film Isn't life beautiful? he dubbed James Stewart .

Günther Dockerill died of cancer on September 3, 1988.
