Heinz Klevenow

Heinz Klevenow (born November 8, 1908 in Hildesheim , † January 27, 1975 in Hamburg ) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Among other things, he played the character of Nero Wolfe in 1960 in the five-part television thriller Too Many Cooks based on the crime novel by Rex Stout . He played supporting roles in the films Confessions of the impostor Felix Krull (1957) and in a television adaptation of The Magic Mountain (1968). Klevenow was part of the Hamburg Thalia Theater for many years until his death .

For many years he worked as a radio play speaker for radio, often with director Fritz Schröder-Jahn . In this medium he mostly appeared in a leading role, such as in 1964 in the famous radio play Das Schiff Esperanza by Fred von Hoerschelmann . In 1956 he spoke in the four-parter Am grün Strand der Spree by Hans Scholz (director: Gert Westphal ) in the second part of Captain Matthäus and in the fourth episode the doctor Dr. Brose. Also in one of the famous Paul Temple radio plays of the West German Radio , he was heard and that 1958 Paul Temple and the Lawrence case (directed by Edward Hermann , with René Deltgen , Annemarie Cordes ) and Kurt Lieck .

As a voice actor he lent his voice to Vittorio de Sica in Madame de… , James Robertson Justice in X-Boats Attack or Lionel Barrymore in Isn't Life Beautiful? , Lorne Greene in the first dubbed version (NDR) by Bonanza .

Klevenow was married to the actress Marga Legal . Their son Heinz , who also works as an actor and theater director, comes from this relationship .
