Ursula Langrock
Ursula Langrock (born January 30, 1926 in Leipzig ; † July 13, 2000 in Hamburg ) was a German actress and radio play speaker.
Life
After she was born in Leipzig , she grew up in Frankfurt am Main . She completed her acting studies in Dresden , where she took her exam with Erich Ponto during the war . In 1945 she came back to Frankfurt am Main via Czechoslovakia. This was followed by engagements at various Frankfurt theaters until 1949. Already in 1946 she was discovered for the radio by the American control officer David Berger and in the same year she played her first radio play role in A Glass of Water . From 1955 she was a permanent member of the Artistic Ensemble of the Südwestfunk in Baden-Baden .
Her voice has been heard in numerous radio plays , features , literature and entertainment programs. Her best-known radio plays include the multi-part Paul Temple and the Madison case by Francis Durbridge from 1955. Here she played the leading female role, Steve Temple, under the direction of Eduard Hermann . Your partners were u. a. René Deltgen ( Paul Temple ), Peter René Körner (Hubert Greene), Kurt Lieck (Sir Graham Forbes), Herbert Hennies (Servant Charlie), Lilly Towska (Stella Portland) and Heinz Schimmelpfennig (George Kelly).
Occasionally she was also seen on television, such as in the 1959 Dürrenmatt film The Visit of the Old Lady , 1961 with Erwin Linder in Carl Zuckmayer's comedy The Merry Vineyard , in 1965 alongside Hans Söhnker and Jane Tilden in an episode of the television series Der Forellenhof by Heinz Oskar Wuttig , 1966 in an episode of the series You co-wrote alongside Günther Schramm or in 1986 under director Rolf Busch in The Application .
