The Musici is an animated film of the DEFA studios for animated films from Katja Georgi dating back to 1963 .

action

Three men meet in a town to play house music on the violin, cello and harp . But shortly after the instruments were tuned, their playing was interrupted by a tank that was taking part in a NATO maneuver and whose gun barrel was boring into the house. But they don't let that stop them for long and just play the well-known canon: "Heaven and earth must pass, but the music ...", until the roof of the house is hit by gunfire from several tanks and thus destroyed. But even that can't irritate them, because immediately afterwards the game continues until the noise of fighting on the street forces them to take another break, after which they start playing again. Only a cannon aimed directly at them finally silences the musicians.

Postscript: "This film is not directed against German house music"
