Sharon and Eva, however, do not care about such things, Europe is far away and their private problems and interests have priority. When they are about to go to the party, the radio program is interrupted and a reporter reports that nuclear weapons have been used in Europe and North America. Atomic bombs have also been dropped on US bases in Australia. People are encouraged to stay where they are and not to leave the house.
