The Diemel Cycle Path is a 110-kilometer long-distance cycle path along the Diemel River in the German states of Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia .

The Diemel cycle path leads from the Diemel source near Usseln to Bad Karlshafen where it flows into the Weser . Among other things, it runs along the Diemelsee and touches the municipalities of Marsberg , Warburg and Trendelburg . The cycle path runs between Trendelburg and Wülmersen on the former Carlsbahn railway line , and since September 2014 the 202-meter-long Deiseler Tunnel can also be passed through. The gradients are generally small, but there are also short (steep) climbs in some places. At the end of Bad Karlshafen there is a connection to the Weserradweg ; Both at the beginning in Usseln and at the end in Bad Karlshafen there is training in rail passenger transport, as well as in various on-the-go communities, for example Marsberg, Warburg, Liebenau .
The ADFC certified the Diemel Cycle Path in 2017 as a 4-star quality cycle route.
